What is Premium Photography?

Shot with professional equipment, Premium Photos use the HDR method to capture the best lighting possible. Because we capture in RAW, you get 150X more color and light ranges when compared to JPG.

What is HDR Photography?

High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography is the process of taking multiple images at different exposures and merging them together to create a single image. This is ideal for real estate because you can capture the bright windows clearly without losing the details of the interior. OBEO’s HDR product is captured with the highest quality equipment and 2X more exposures than Premium Photos.

How long with the photoshoot take?

Photo-only photoshoots take between 30 – 45 minutes for most average size homes (around 3,500 sqft). Luxury Estates that have special architectural details typically take 1 hour. Adding 3D and other products will increase the photoshoot time.

How can I prepare the property for the photoshoot?

No matter how great the quality of the photography, a cluttered home is equivalent to showing up to your profile glamour shot in jammies and bedhead. We provide all cients with a PDF checklist to help prepare the property for the day of the shoot.

How many photographs will I receive?

You will choose the number of photos to be captured when placing the order. We suggest at least 1 photo for every 100 square feet of the property (ie 2,500 sq ft - 25 photos).

What sizes and types of images will I receive?

When you download images, you can choose from pre-set sizes that include Print quality and other web-optimized sizes. You can also type in any dimensions that you want. Your high-quality images remain in your OBEO account to use whenever you want.

When will I receive my images?

OBEO has the fastest editing in the industry, delivering you images by 7am the following morning of the photoshoot in most cases (excluding Sunday).

How much do you charge?

What areas do you serve?

All major metros are covered in each state and many surrounding and rural areas. If you have a property outside of our normal coverage areas, it might take a bit longer than normal or a travel charge may apply. If you want to make sure we have coverage in your area, contact us today!

Do I need to be present at the shoot?

No. You do not need to be present, but our photographer will need access to the property. We highly recommend that you walk through the property prior to the photoshoot to make sure it is ready to be photographed. De-cluttering the home is the responsibility of the property owner. If you have specific shot requests, please communicate those to the photographer before the photoshoot.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a photo shoot?

Schedule conflicts happen. Courtesy is best practice. If you cancel on the day of the photoshoot, or the property is not ready when the photographer arrive, we do charge a $50 fee.

Can I get a specific photographer assigned to me?

Yes! If you prefer a photographer, simple install the Preferred Photographer App in your OBEO Account and select the photographer you’d like to receive all your future orders. If they aren’t available, don’t worry, our Support Team will introduce you to other photographers who produce the same consistent high quality.

Who owns the rights?

If we captured the images, then technically OBEO does…but we give you permission to use these photos however you see fit for as long as you want. If you uploaded your own photos for us to edit, then we’re just the editor, not the owner.
